She added that they won some crucial games. It was a great performance and team effort in the tournament.

So, she is confident that they will be able to perform well. She also added that she wants to give the country another opportunity to celebrate this year. They are going to be in a group consisting of Aussies, New Zealand, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka. It will be the Group A.
Additionally, there will also be some challenges for the team overall. They have not been able to win the trophy ever. On the contrary, Men’s team won the trophy for the second time after 17 years. The women’s team performed well during the last attempt. However, they had to face defeat at the hands of Australia in the final.
They also tried to win the ODI World Cup in 2017, which they also lost to Aussies. So, it will be a challenge for them to get past the kangaroos for the ultimate prize.
Also, Kaur said that they are going to put their best foot forward for the tournament. The team is charged after witnessing the triumph of the men’s team. It will be held in UAE. The campaign will begin for India on October 4 against New Zealand.
She further added that all the teams are going to try to win the tournament. So, they will be taking every team seriously. They will also not try to overestimate any team whatsoever. So, they will go in with a positive frame of mind.
The tournament is going to start on October 3rd. The first two matches will take place on that day. Then, India will be against New Zealand on the 4th. Next, they will be playing against Pakistan on the 6th. Finally, they will face off with Australia. After the first round, two teams will roll to the next stage for the semi-finals. The final is to be held on the 20th of the month. So, it will be exhilarating to see the women’s team with the trophy in the end.
