Google Maps is one of the most used online applications. This app is used to search for places and look for directions. It gives particular directions to any place in this world. Recently, a new feature has been added to the list of advantages it provides.
The giant app introduced a new exciting feature. With the help of this feature, it is easier to share your live locations with anyone. Location sharing is a concept just as similar to WhatsApp. Similar applications such as Telegram and WhatsApp use this similar feature. You can decide the time for which you want to share your live location.
Google Maps also helps in sharing the levels of battery, significant constraints, and time boundaries. It helps the person to navigate the approximate time of reaching the place. Here are a few steps by which you can share the live location via Google Maps –
The first step is to tap on the profile icon. This icon is on the top right corner of the screen.
The second step is to press the ‘location sharing’ and then tap and choose the share button.
The third step is to select the period for which you would like to share your location. This opens a new window after you are done with your second step.
You can stop sharing this live location anytime you want. In WhatsApp and Telegram, people are not able to share their live locations on other apps. However, in Google Maps, you are authorized to share your location information with anybody on other applications as well. This comes in handy for both, Android and iOS versions.
Also, since there is an adult age limit in our country, this feature might catch your details. It will not work for children who are aged below 13.
