Here comes some more news from WhatsApp. On Thursday, the CEO of Meta, Mark Zuckerberg delivered an announcement that might excite WhatsApp users. During a press conference, Zuckerberg announced that a new application for Windows in WhatsApp has been introduced. This feature shall allow the user to add about eight people to a group during a video call. With the help of this new application, you can also allow users to connect up to thirty-two people on an audio call from the desktop very easily.
While making the announcement on their official Facebook profile, Zuckerberg said that a new WhatsApp desktop app for Windows is been launched. This will allow the users to make E2E-encrypted video calls along with eight people at a time. In the audio call, the user can add up to thirty-two people at a time. In addition to it, the tech giant has further said that now the user will be able to load much quicker on the Windows desktop too. In this application, an interface that is familiar to Windows and WhatsApp users has been used.
From Meta, it has been said that, since the company is introducing multi-device compatibility they have ensured to take customer feedback seriously and improved the feature for faster device connectivity. Now it also has a much better syncing capacity with other devices. Furthermore, new features such as stickers and link previews have been given modification as well.
From Meta, it has been further told that these limits shall continue to increase with time. It will help the users to always remain connected with family, friends, and co-workers across WhatsApp.
WhatsApp has been the biggest platform to give its users complete end-to-end encrypted services for messaging. This company which is led by Zuckerberg has also informed its users that a desktop version of WhatsApp for Mac users. Currently, it is only available for their Met version.
Towards the beginning of this week, this tech company has already announced two newly added updates to the WhatsApp Group feature. It gave new control to the admins and helps the users to see the common groups very easily. Through the call link feature, users are able to create a call link just the way it happens across other platforms and share those links with the users. Users can join the call be it audio or video just by clicking on the link. Even though WhatsApp allows its users to share those links with anyone they wish to, people who are not on WhatsApp will need to make a new account in order to attend the call.
